Return & Refund Policy

At AeraClear, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, please read our return and refund policy below.

1. Returns

Customers may request a return within 7 days of receiving their order, provided that the product is:

  • Unused

  • Unopened

  • In its original packaging

  • In the same condition as received

For hygiene and safety reasons, skincare and beauty products that have been opened, used, or tampered with cannot be returned unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

South African online shoppers generally have a 7-day cooling-off period for online purchases, and return shipping for non-defective goods may be for the customer’s account. (The National Consumer Commission)

2. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Opened skincare products

  • Used beauty tools or devices

  • Pimple patches with broken seals

  • Products damaged due to misuse

  • Items not in their original packaging

3. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the product

  • Clear photos of the packaging

Once reviewed, we may offer a replacement, exchange, or refund where applicable. Under South African consumer protection principles, consumers may be entitled to remedies where goods are defective, unsafe, or not as described. (DML)

4. Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our side, a defective item, or an incorrect product being sent.

5. Return Shipping

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, AeraClear will assist with the return process.

6. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect. If you need an exchange, please contact us first before sending the product back.
